1. Who we are
Wajeeh ("we", "us") is a digital freight platform operated by Wajeeh, a division of Aber Al Jazeera, Saudi Arabia, headquartered at Al Nada Center, Al Nada District, Riyadh. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use wajeeh.app, the Wajeeh mobile apps, and Wajeeh TMS (together, the "Platform").
2. Information we collect
- Account & company data — name, company name, commercial registration, contact details, and role.
- Carrier & driver data — vehicle registrations (istimara), insurance documents, driver licenses and IDs, and bank details for payouts.
- Operational data — bookings, shipments, GPS locations of vehicles on active trips, proof-of-delivery records (photos, OTP confirmations), and invoices.
- Technical data — device information, log data, and cookies used to keep you signed in and improve the Platform.
3. How we use it
- Matching shipments with carriers and operating bookings end to end.
- Live tracking, notifications (SMS and email), and proof-of-delivery workflows.
- Payments, payouts, invoicing (including ZATCA e-invoicing), and fraud prevention.
- Verifying carrier and driver documents as required by law and by shippers.
- Improving the Platform, including aggregated, de-identified analytics.
4. Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the service: with the counterparty to a shipment (shipper ⇄ carrier), with service providers (hosting, SMS/email delivery, payments), and with authorities where the law requires it — including customs and tax authorities. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention & security
Shipment and invoicing records are retained as required by Saudi commercial and tax regulations. Data is encrypted in transit, hosted in access-controlled environments, and limited to personnel who need it to operate the service.
6. Your rights
Subject to the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (sign-in, language, and theme preferences) and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Changes & contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. Questions? Email [email protected] or call +966 5696 96283.
